Robert “Bob” Savage of Topaz Lake passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. He was born July 2, 1941 to Amelia and Charles Savage in Santa Monica, California. After living in Santa Monica, Malibu and Mammoth Lakes, California he and his wife made Topaz Lake, Nevada their home. Bob grew up ditching school to surf the morning waves and then became an avid motocross and snowmobile racer. Later in life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.
As owner of Topaz Construction, Bob designed, built or remodeled many homes and businesses in the area for his friends and neighbors. Survivors include his wife Jan; his 2 daughters, Jessica and Audrae, 3 grandchildren Cameron, Ashley, and Kaylee, 2 step-sons and 6 step-grandchildren. At his request, no service will be held. Instead the family asks that you remember Bob as the witty, feisty, ornery friend that he was to us all.
