RENO — Authorities are still investigating the cause of a wildlife that burned about 84 acres just west of Reno before fire crews fully contained it near Boca Dam just north of Interstate 80.

Forest Service officials evacuated the Boca Springs campground in the Tahoe National Forest after the brush fire broke out about 3 p.m. Monday. But no injuries or damage to buildings was reported.

Four air tankers and three helicopters helped firefighters on the ground fully contain the blaze by about 10 p.m.

Crews remained on the scene Tuesday doing mop-up work.
