Don’t thump Bible – study it

Response to Sunni Enciso — I don’t thump my Bible, I read and study it, unlike you, who evidently doesn’t. God is indeed going to weigh sin, but his judgement will weight not only the act, but the thoughts and intentions of the heart as well, and that will weigh much more deeper consequences and more severe than any earthly judge could ever judge.

1 Samuel 2:3: “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.”

John 19:11, Jesus is talking to Pilate: “Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.”

Revelation 20:12-13, go read about the final judgement, Sunni, where all who refuse to believe and repent will stand to be judged.

I don’t hate anyone. It’s people like yourself who don’t love gays, adulterers, adulteresses, etc. because you refuse to warn them of what awaits them if they continue down that path. Perverted sin breeds more perverted sin, and I include all sin in that statement. God hates all sin.

I don’t think you and I serve the same God; mine demands separation from the world’s ways of those he saves, so stop thumping your Bible, Sunni, and start reading and studying it, and judge righteously.
