The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:
• At 10:58 a.m., a 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested after a deputy said he smelled marijuana as she drove slowly past with windows down. Total bail was set at $2,600.
• At 12:10 p.m., a 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after employees at a south Carson Street store charged he put on a sweatshirt from a rack and attempted to leave without paying. Bail was set at $250.
• At 3:44 p.m., a 67-year-old man was arrested at his Imperial Way residence for allegedly battering a woman. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 12:51 a.m., a 35-year-old banker was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after a traffic stop on William Street for allegedly speeding. Bail was set at $1,065 on the two charges.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
