The Fallon Longhorns seventh- and eighth-grade basketball team captured their second tournament championship this season.
The Longhorns beat the Fernley Titans both in the semifinal and the championship games of the third annual Running Rabbits tounament in Schurz.
The fourth- through sixth-grade Fallon Longhorns were defeated in the finals by the Yerington Hawks. Trae’ Thomson and Brittany Davis were named all tournament, and Christian Nemoth and Stacy Kalt were named Most Valuable Players for the seventh- and eighth-grade division.
Avery Strasdin and Jayden Jensen were named to the fourth- through sixth-grade all-tournament team.
