Proscenium Players, Inc.’s murder mystery production of “The Wedding from Hell!” is being extended for two additional weekends at the Brewery Arts Center as a murder mystery dessert buffet show.

Bruce Montgomery and Tina Fitzhugh are ready to take their vows, and the audience is invited to witness more than their “I do’s.” Bruce’s aristocratic mother, Sylvia, is not happy with her son’s choice. Tina’s father, Jackie, owns a novelty store and has his own special plans on how to improve this happy occasion. Making this celebration complete is a flask-toting judge, a classic wedding singer, a police photographer, the maid, a southern belle, and a private investigator who gets more than he bargained for: a murder!

Performances will be at 6:30 p.m. on Fridays, Feb. 21 and 28, and Saturdays, Feb. 22 and March 1. A matinee performance to benefit Carson City Senior Center’s meal program will be at 2 p.m. on March 1. All performances will be held in the Maizie Harris Jesse Theater at the Brewery Arts Center, 409 W. King St.

General admission tickets cost $23 and $18 for students, seniors, military and PPI and BAC members. Ticket price includes the show and a buffet of desserts from LA Bakery. Tickets must be purchased one week prior to the date of the performance to guarantee seating availability. A limited number of seats will be available for purchase at the door.

For tickets, call the Brewery Arts Center at 775-883-1976. For information about the show, call 775-781-0664 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
