Dec. 12, 1934-Feb. 5, 2014

Passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home in Carson City, NV. Duane was born December 12, 1934, in Lincoln, NE to Rachel and Adam Schleiger. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Upon discharge, Duane joined AT&T/Pacific Bell, and rose to the level of First Line Supervisor without any formal education. He was a perfectionist, and highly skilled at most all forms of Telecommunications. He retired at age 54, after running his own company “Tele-Technicians, Inc.” This successful endeavor is still vital to this day. Duane, an independent thinker, and lover of baseball, was a rock of invincibility and never shy to solve any problem that might present itself. He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann, and sons Steven Richard and Mark Adam. The lord has taken a very special man and the world will need more men like Duane F. Schleiger. We will miss him.
