Fallon Youth Baseball continues registration

Sign ups for the Fallon Youth Baseball League resumes Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Fallon Convention Center.

The final date to register is Feb. 27, also from 6-8 p.m. The league has a created an age group for 16-18 year olds and will compete in the Babe Ruth league.

Cost for T-Ball (4-6) and Rookie (7-8) leagues are $65, Cal Ripken (9-12) is $95 and Babe Ruth (13-18) for $125.

Players who make the high school teams can play half the Babe Ruth season for $90.

Ski program hits slopes March 1

The Churchill County Parks and Recreation’s annual ski program is ready to get the youth of the community a chance to hit the slopes.

The trips for this year are on March 1 and 8. Full package trips are available as well as ticket only trips for children ages 8-17.

Adult chaperones (21 and older) are encouraged to volunteer to go on trips to help watch the children. Call the Parks and Recreation office at 775-423-7733 for pricing information.
