Colleen Lynn Thompson-Gunsch, 58, passed on Monday, January 6 2014, in Fallon Nevada. Born at Oak Knoll Hospital in Oakland California to Albert (Red) and Marilyn (Babe) Bowlsby. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn (Babe) Bowlsby of Fallon, her son Jerry Gunsch, his partner Joshua Kelleher and her daughter Jennifer Gunsch of Reno. Also survived by her brother Mark and wife Sandy Bowlsby of Reno, step brother Jeff and wife Marlene Bowlsby of Fallon and step sister Judi Penna of Pahrump. She was proceeded in death by her father Albert (Red) Bowlsby. Colleen was a very loving woman who touched everyone’s life in one way or another. She was passionate about music and swimming at Lake Tahoe or the pool. She loved spending time with her family and grand dogs Tic Tac and Riley as well as with friends laughing. Any body who loved or knew Colleen is welcome to come celebrate her beautiful life with us. Services will be held Saturday, January 18 at 4pm in the Church of Latter-Day Saints 750 W. Richard St. Fallon NV 89406.No dress code. “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away.” Special thanks to the Gardens Funeral Home and Lorretta Guazzini for being such an amazing person.
