The Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada selected the Carson Station Hotel & Casino as the spotlight business of the month.

For the month of July, Carson Station General Manager Bruce Jabbour and his staff and their customers will be collecting funds for a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada in association with Boys and Girls Clubs of America participate in the National IJTO campaign. “It Just Takes One” is a campaign that helps raise proceeds to aid clubs across the nation meet their goals in educating, caring and providing a safe and rewarding environment for the youths of our communities.

BGCWN is teaming up with a business each month in which customers are asked if they would like to donate at least $1 when they pay their bill. The donations are used to defray tuition costs for children. The club only charges $30 per year, although it costs $510 a year per child.

Carson Station has decided to match the amount their customers are contributing. Carson Station is also giving every customer who donates $1, $5 in free play at its casino (rules and restrictions apply).
