Gladys Leslie Pederson

Gladys Leslie Pederson passed away peacefully in her home on June 21, 2014 at the age of 94. She was born on September 21, 1919 in Carson City, Nevada to Leslie and Mildred Hesse. She graduated from Carson High School in 1937. She married Bjarne Arnold Pederson in 1954. Gladys worked for the Selective Service in Carson City before resigning in 1954 to join her husband Bjarne in running Carson Ready Mix. She worked in the office and was the bookkeeper. She also helped Bjarne run T-Car Speedway and later Carson Masonry Supply. She is survived by her son, Eric Pederson, daughter-law Suzan Pederson, step-daughters Martana Martin and Sonnia Egge, grandchildren Leanne, Allison, Jessica and Ronald, and numerous great-grand children and great great grand children. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Wallace and Henry Hesse, daughter Diane Loving and granddaughter, Denise Edmunds. Per Gladys’ wish, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
