Alex Philip Anda

Alex Philip Anda passed away peacefully at Banner Hospital on June 5, 2014 with his family by his side after a short illness with cancer. Alex was born on September 24, 1943 in Tijuana, Mexico to Alejandro and Angelina Anda. Alex joined the U.S. Navy and traveled all over the world. His last duty station was NAS Fallon in 1984. He retired here as a Chief after 27 years of dedication to the military.Alex was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Anda of Fallon; sister, Adeline (Ed) Lopez; daughters, Angelina (Jamie) Cursat; Al-Melia (Dustin) Dickinson; step-daughters, Trina (Rick) Robinson; Veronica (Bran) Grei; 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Randolph St. Suite 225 Arlington, VA 22203 Memorial services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV. at 12 PM.
