Napoletano, Providenti win at Eagle Valley

Ken Napoletano and Nick Providenti topped the Open 1 flight low gross standings at the opening Eagle Valley Men’s Club tournament on March 15.

Rick Felling and Tony Corda were the low-net winner in the second flight, while Larry Sullivan and Mike Bratzler were second. Corey James and Dana Whaley won first place for low gross score n the second flight while Harold Fowler and Mike Lenzi were second. Bill Ruprecht and Joe Frankl were low net winners in second flight while Bill Abbott and Rick Encinas were second. Tito Delaparra and Rick Green were low gross winners in the seniors’ top flight. Richard Pike and Ted Taylor won low net honors for the top senior flight with Bill Richter and Don Kovisto taking second. Alex Talmant and Bob Lewis took top low gross honors in the second flight for seniors. David Sakas and Tom Betterton won low net honors with Robert Clements and Ron Thompson taking second.


Essary wins flight at Carson Valley

Dan Essary shot a net 66 to win the A flight at Carson Valley Golf Club. Marc Menezes was second with a 71.

Augie Martinez and Evan Evans tied for the top spot in Flight B with 76s, and Bruce Sanford was third, Jim Arens won Flight C with a 78, while Neil Bain shot an 82.


Dolce takes top honors at Empire

Anthony Dolce shot a net 63 to win A flight honord at the seson-opening tournment for Empire Ranch seniors. Dennis Justin was second with a 65.

Gary Mick was tops in Flight B with a 58, while Art Skipworth was second with a 67.

Carl Slate, Steve McMorris, Richard Ziegler and Moe Diaz were closest-to-the-hole winners.
