Sandra Lynn Heald

June 5, 1951 - April 13, 2014

Sandra Lynn Heald passed away on April 13, 2014 at the age of 62. She was born June 5, 1951 in San Fernando, California to Kenneth and Anna Brewer. As a toddler she moved to Hot Creek California. She grew up in the Owens Valley, living on fish hatcheries at Mount Whitney, Fish Springs and Black Rock. Sandra graduated high school, valedictorian of her class in 1969 from Big Pine California. She then attended college in Glendale before returning to the Owens Valley and marrying her high school sweetheart, Charles Heald in November 1971. Charles and Sandra moved their family of 6 to Nevada in 1986 where they resided for the past 28 years. Sandra dedicated her life to her husband of 43 years and her four children. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Sandra loved and nurtured her ever growing family. She was a woman of the outdoors, who enjoyed camping, fishing as well as hunting for treasure with her family and closest friends. She is survived by her father, Kenneth Brewer of Placerville, California, her sister, Leann Elliott of Placerville, California, her husband, Charles Heald of Winnemucca, Nevada, her children, Tonya Heald of Elko, Nevada, Trent and Nicole Heald of Carson City, Nevada, Kenneth Heald of Cedarville,

California and Krista and Lance Rasmussen of Carson City, Nevada. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Howard, Sandie Howard, Randy Heald, Audrey Healey, Travis Heald, Dakota Heald, Nicholas Heald, Austin Rasmussen and Cody Rasmussen and two great-grandchildren Tristen and Mahala. Sandra will live on in the hearts of all those she touched and in the memories those people will cherish forever. Services will be held on June 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Granite Hills Baptist Church, 10350 Red Rock Road, Reno, Nevada.
