Alexander James Fimbres (A.J.) was born on Nov. 23, 1986 in San Francisco, CA weighing in at 11lbs. 8 1/2 oz. 23in. long. He died unexpectedly on April 23rd in Scottsdale, AZ in a terrible bicycle accident after being hit by a car on 4-20, Easter Sunday, at the young age of 27 years old. A.J. grew up in Carson City, NV from the age of 9, where he attended school & Boys & Girls Club here. A.J. was very well liked but he also faced many struggles. A.J. spent his summers in Big Pine, CA with his

grandparents Jim & Liz Arbuckle, working as a busboy/dishwasher at their restaurant the Country Kitchen. A.J. went to Reno Sparks Gospel Mission when he was 18 where he met Reverend Joe whom he called Pops. Rev Joe was A.J’s mentor & friend, during his stay there he found God & was water baptized. A.J. also obtained his GED diploma while residing there. A.J. always seemed wise beyond his years and had such a big heart.

A.J. had a passion for music and he wrote his own songs and made most of his own beats for his rap music, Whyte Rekluse , his rap name.

A.J. moved backed to the Bay Area where he lived in Oakland, CA a few years working as security for night clubs then Kaiser Hospital.

In Dec. 2013, A.J. moved to Mesa, AZ to pursue his music career. He was in the process of recording an album. A.J. was a very talented young man with many dreams that were unfulfilled. A.J. was able to save many lives by organ donation. A.J. is survived by his mother Cheri Fletcher, sister Nichole Fimbres, stepfather Thomas Fletcher of Carson City, his stepsister Amber Fletcher of Reno, uncle Clifton Arbuckle of Dayton, NV. numerous cousins and many close friends, and a huge following of his music. A.J. was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim & Liz Arbuckle. A. J. was loved & touched the lives of so many people in a positive way. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Paradise. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. May 17th, 2014 @ 2pm @ Capital Christian Center 1600 Snyder Ave. in Carson City, NV. Immediately following the services there will be a potluck and gathering @ 1380 E. 5th St. @ The Eagles Lodge in Carson City. Please contact Karen Smith for info on potluck @ (775)224-4556.
