Tarry smell.

Asphalt is being laid up and down the line of Robinson Street and caulkers and diggers and swabbers and adjusters are pipe laying in the interest of Messrs. Rice and Helm.

It is a good, healthsome smell, asphalt.

Good for the lungs if you are lungy, good for the nose if you are nosey, good for the stomach if you are a bellyacher ...
