Trustees meet Thursday

A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.

Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:

For discussion and possible action: Approval of the audited financial statements for year-end June 30, 2014.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of corrective action plan for the 2014 financial report.

For discussion and possible action: Approval to apply for Transportation Rebate Grant for the purchase of new buses.

For discussion and possible action: Approval to purchase a new backup server with bond funds.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of award of contract for design services on the Churchill County High School math quad repaving project in the amount of $24,500 to Lumos and Associates of Fallon.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of contract with Innovative Communications for district wide intercom and clock upgrades.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of a contract with McFadden Electric in the amount of $26,700 for replacing existing site lighting at Numa and Lahontan Elementary Schools with energy efficient LED lights.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of Resolution 14-09 - grazing lease on the property located at Rio Vista Road.

For discussion and possible action: Regarding agricultural class sizes at the high school.

For discussion and possible action: Criteria for fundraising.

For discussion and possible action: The Board will establish criteria for determine budgetary priorities that are directed at improving student achievement in compliance with NRS 387.301.

For discussion and possible action: Determine dates for school board retreat and budget workshop in January.
