Dick and Lorraine Jamison celebrated their 66th anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 19. They met and fell in love and were married in Chicago, Ill., in 1948. Both were attending Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill.
Dick and Lorraine moved to Carson City in 1997 from Chandler, Ariz., where they retired after long careers with the Chandler Unified School District. Over the years, they have shared many happy memories and continue to make new ones. They celebrated with their only daughter, Mary, and son-in-law, Cliff, who also live in Carson City.
“Thank you, mom and dad, for showing me the true meaning of love, devotion, courage and faith. I love you,” Mary said.
