Candidates Night changes

Several changes have occurred for the general election’s Candidates Night sponsored by the Lahontan Valley News.

Candidates Night begins at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Fallon Convention Center.

The forum is held several days before early voting begins on Oct. 18.

The LVN has had to readjust the times for Candidates Night to include a segment explaining in the Education Initiative Tax or Margins Tax and how it will affect businessmen. The LVN is also seeking input on a ballot initiative for the fire department.

The allotted time has been shortened to accommodate all local officials.
