The following information applies to the period of Oct. 20-26:
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Oct. 25, the Nevada Department of Transportation will be completing road work on Highway 50 from Arrowhead Drive in Carson City to Baldwin Lane in Mound House. There will be lane closures in both directions during the daytime hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
There will be work primarily in the shoulder E. Fifth Street from Roop Street to Saliman Road from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday. Elaine Street will remain closed to through traffic from Monday through Sunday. Follow the marked detour.
Lane closures are expected with minimal delays due to utility work on the following roads:
Thursday, Oct. 23, on Panamint Road just north of Knoblock Road.
Friday, Oct. 24, on G.S. Richards Boulevard just south of the roundabout.
There will be utility work on roadway shoulders in the Lakeview area south of Hobart Road during the weekdays. No delays are expected.
