A Lyon County man died Friday morning after being hit crossing the road in Fernley, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was hit outside of the marked crosswalks on Newlands Drive near Jill Court after 7:30 a.m.
The man was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center where he died.
The accident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 775-463-6600.
