Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 9:18 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, no proof of insurance, violation of suspended sentence and failure to appear-traffic after deputies conducted a traffic stop on the 1400 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,415.

At 1:34 p.m., John Capitani, 32, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and violation of domestic temporary protection order. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 8:52 p.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and driving without a license after deputies responded to reports of a traffic accident at Columbia and Fairmont Way. Bail was set at $600.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
