More than 40 agencies offering a range of services, including information about immunizations and sign ups for health care, will be on hand at Hand Up, a resource health fair sponsored by Carson City Health and Human Services.
The fair, hosted by Orvis School of Nursing, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Marv Teixeira Pavilion in Mills Park.
The event offers opportunities to donate blood or sign up for WIC, tutoring, Meals on Wheels and other senior services, mental health services and more. Refreshments and raffle prizes will be offered.
