1957 - 2015



Mark went to be with the Lord in June of 2015. Mark was born to Percy and Helen Seidel Pimley in Montana in 1957. He moved with his family to Nevada in 1964. After living in Carson City for 2 years, they then moved to Minden where he would eventually build his own home. Mark was a laborer with the Labor’s Union 169 until his retirement in 2014. He was a gentle giant. he played Santa Claus every Christmas for all his nieces and nephews since he never had his own children. Mark was a lifetime bachelor. he was the oldest of 8 children and was the only boy. he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was also a honorary member of the Patriot Riders. He loved attending the parades and events that he was able to ride his Harley in. This is where everyone knew him as “Pokey”.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother and father and his lifetime childhood friend and fishing buddy, Brad Kawchack and his traveling buddy “Dice”. Mark is survived by his sisters Jane Heaser of Ridgecrest, CA, Ruth Fecanin and Susan Raty of Carson City, Stella Pimley of Sparks, Ellen Alibiter, Judy Steele, and Anna Burnside of Dayton, 13 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces & nephews & numerous friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
