Big Business Big Life, an all-day event to teach business strategies and develop a mindset for success, will be presented in Aug. 27 by Reno-Truckee based consultants Simone Janssen and Alina Vincent.

Business growth and technology strategist Vincent and business coach Janssen offer tools to help entrepreneurs attract clients, boost profits and call their own shots in both business and life.

“This event is everything I wished I had known when I started my own business,” said Vincent, who now runs Business Success Edge. Reno-based, she teaches clients around the world how to accelerate social media traffic, generate quality leads and sales.

Janssen is a certified business coach and splits her time between offices in Oakland and Truckee, where she bases her business, SALT Leadership training and consulting.

“My mission is to help growing entrepreneurs who want to make more money, in less time, building the business and the lifestyle that they love,” she says on her website.

Vincent and Janssen both recreated their careers several times before arriving at their current success.

“I used to be a business consultant who worked a million hours,” Janssen said. “I gave my time away, I let people take advantage of me, and I got really burned out.”

She went back to school, became a certified coach, and began SALT Leadership.

Vincent has climbed the ladder of success three times. After an award-winning career as a course developer at the University of Nevada, Reno, she grew her photography business to six figures in two years.

She trained other photographers how to market their photographs, became a marketing expert, which led to business coaching.

At Business Success Edge, “I help people get to the place where they’re happy with what they’re doing, where they live the life of their dreams,” she said.

The two began their connection at a business event where they discovered that their coaching talents complemented each other.

“We both are business coaches. I’m more of a strategist and Simone is more of a coach,” Vincent said of their decision to create an event together.

Big Business Big Life is a one-day event that begins with a guided self-analysis of participants’ strengths, challenges and motivations. It includes presentations and exercises on defining performance and success and charting a course to the top.

“We give them the tools, strategies and inspiration, and they get to write the story of their business and how it should be,” Janssen said.

What sets the Big Business Big Life event apart from others?

“I’m really good about telling people the truth in a way they can hear it,” Janssen said.

“We’re businesswomen ourselves,” Vincent said. “We’re up to date on what’s happening and what’s changing in business, and we really relate to our clients.”
