Douglas “Bud” Brooks

Douglas (Bud) Brooks passed away at his Ranch in Lovelock, Nevada at the age of 87 with his loving wife, Ruth, at his side. Bud is survived by Ruth, his wife of 64 years, his sister (Gen), 8 children, 27 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. It is said that a man can be measured by the number of lives he has touched in his lifetime. It would be impossible to estimate the number of lives he touched as teacher, coach, friend, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015, 11-3:00, in Virginia City, NV at the Miners Park.
