Terry Lee Rogne

May 31, 1955 - Aug. 20, 2015

Terry passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on August 20, 2015 at age 60. Terry was born and raised in Fallon, Nevada and was a beloved member of the community. He held several positions with the Churchill County

Telephone Company (CC Communications), retiring in 2004 as a Customer Service Engineer. He also served for twenty years as a volunteer fireman with the Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as a Captain in 2011. While Terry’s passion was always the fire department, he loved to golf, metal detect, explore the desert, and hunt. He will always be remembered, though, for his love of dancing and a good party! Terry was preceded in death by his father, Robert O. Rogne, and brother, William R. Rogne. He is survived by the love of his life, Kelly Martin Helton; children, Theresa (Dan) Birchfield, Nathan (Deanna) Rogne, Brad (Krystle) Rogne, Shelby (Joe Magana) Helton, and Nate Helton; grandchildren, Evan, Nora, Julian, Connor, Danielle, and Brayden; his mother, Betty Rogne; siblings, Nancy (Bob) Soule, Linda (Bob) Dodge, Dean (Brenda) Rogne, Fred (Licia) Rogne, Donnie (Andrea) Rogne, Kathy (Chuck) Robertson, and Karen (Dave) Capron; and numerous nieces and nephews. We will celebrate his life on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Fallon/Churchill Fire Department at 11:00am, with hot dogs, Bud Light, and a three day weekend! Please bring a dish to share.
