Norma “Tiny” Lucille Perondi Tiny Perondi died of natural causes August 22, 2015 at The Lodge. Tiny was 92. She was born May 6, 1923, in Sonora, California; to William and Leonora (King) Scrivens. Tiny lived her first 9 years of life in Tonopah, NV. She was preceded in death by her father William Scrivens, her mother Leonora Scrivens Tracy, her stepfather Jack Lee Tracy and sister Leonora D. Tracy. After the loss of her parents she was then sent to live at the Nevada State Children’s home in Carson City with her siblings until graduating from Carson High School in 1942. After graduating, she joined the Navy in 1944 and served two years. She married Alfred “Bushy” Perondi in 1948; they were married 57 years until his death in 2005. Tiny retired from the Carson City Recorders Office after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge for over 60 years and past president. She enjoyed knitting and cooking big family dinners. But her true passion was the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tiny was also preceded in death by sons Mark and Mike Perondi. Sisters Josephine Manconi, Charlotte Hollingsworth Wood, Irene Rasmussen and Mildred Heidenreich, and brothers Edward and Eugene Scrivens. She is survived by her son David (Pam) Perondi and daughter Vickie (Tim) Lahey; plus 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A rosary will be held at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Friday, September 4, at 6 p.m. with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Carson City, Saturday, September 5, at 1p.m. Burial will be immediately after the service at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, followed with a reception at the Eagles Lodge.
