The FallonLions Club recentlyhad a presentation fromn teh STOP program, which talks to middle school students about the dangers of smoking, using drugs and drinking alcohol.
The STOP program was on a recent Fallon Lions Club guest program. The Lions heard a speech about the STOP program as members go to middle schools and talk with students regarding smoking, drugs and alcohol. Students receive pamphlets pencils and pens. All money raised is for material. Dean Christensen and Bill Strohauer of the Fallon Lions gave out certificates of appreciation to 10 students and three adults for their help with our volunteer program at the Lions Junior Roideo and booth at the festival. Lions member Barbara Hertz presented the STOP program a check for $500.
