A chance for a white Christmas this week lies with another front sweeping through the Great Basin, according to the National Weather Service.

Today calls for partly sunny with a high near 45 and northwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tonight, the clouds begin to roll in, and lows will dip to the low to mid 20s. Wednesday Night

Snow is likely on Thursday with highs near 40. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent with possible snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.

Snow showers continue into Thursday night.

Thursday Night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 16.

On Christmas Day the weatherman is calling for partly sunny with highs in the mid-30s.
