Big Boys BBQ held its ribbon cutting grand opening on Saturday as the Fallon Chamber of Commerce had numerous members there to support the new business.

Owner Joseph Bake said he is proud of the excitement of his staff and the great food that they serve,

“We did a soft opening several months ago and wanted to make sure we had all the bugs worked out before we did the big event,” he said.

Bake was born and raised in Fallon. He has experience in catering and making food for large groups. He loves that he is able to provide numerous jobs in the Fallon community.

“Not a lot of businesses can offer higher than minimum wage and benefits, but the focus of the staff is on great attitudes and great food,” he added.

He has a large family and is excited that many of his family recipes are used in the business today.

Big Boys BBQ offers slow smoked meats, fresh home-style salads and awesome treats. They also use priority purchasing for local vendors, buying locally when possible to meet their menu requirements.

“I am excited that we also have a full market license that allows us to sell local items produced right here in Fallon,” Bake said.

Big Boys BBQ is expanding to bottle its BBQ sauces and meat rubs.

Big Boys BBQ, located at 787 W. Williams Ave., offers a full dining room restaurant, take out, catering and limited delivery.
