Calvin William Dixon passed away December 29, 2014 in Reno, Nevada. He was born January 14, 1945 in Fallon, NV to Harry W. and Louemma Cushman Dixon. He worked as a carpet layer and was a member of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe. He is survived by his sister Vivian Cushman Hicks; brother Vernon (Adria) Dixon; nieces Rulan (Ray) Stands; Mayris (Timothy) Turner; Jonell (Vincent) Strawbuck; Derrick Hicks; Zack and Nate Lancaster; grand daughters Emily and Megan Dixon, Morgan Kuykendall, Sadie Garcia and her daughter Bobi Garcia and son in law Joey Wiersma. Visitation and viewing will be begin Saturday January 3rd, 2015 at 9am with funeral services to follow at 11AM at Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr. Fallon, 423-2255. Interment will follow the service at the Fallon cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service and will be announced.
