Free cooking class offered Jan. 19 at Dayton Community Center

Rebekah May, a certified Community Health Advocate, and Kim Mason, a dietician, will teach how to cook Alaska salmon albóndiga, a type of meatball soup, at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at Dayton Community Center.

The free monthly cooking classes are sponsored by Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey as part of its Healthy Food Hub, an effort to improve access to locally and sustainably grown, healthy, and affordable food.
