John Keit Kiewicz

John died in a motorcycle accident in Malibu, CA Jan. 4, 2015. John was born Feb. 17, 1970 at Queen of The Valley Hospital in West Corvina, California. To Ed & Joyce Kiewicz. The family moved from Azusa, CA. to Carson City in 1974. John attended all his school years in Carson City. John attended University of Nevada, Reno. where he graduated with a bachelors degree in journalism in 1993. He moved back to Los Angeles for greater opportunities in his filed. In 1993 he was hired as associate editor of Car Craft Magazine. After seven years at Car Craft John took a position at Motor Trend Magazine. John’s position involved many worldwide assignments. He created many significant projects and stories for both magazines, knew many high profile, well known persons in the automotive high performance industry. John personally set many world driving records that still stand. John is survived by his wife Michelle, three children, Danielle, Noah and Connor, his parents, Ed (Georgia) and Joyce (Gary) his brother Michael and step-brother Matthew Richards. Final resting place for John will be at Genoa Cemetery at a later date.
