A one-month investigation resulted in the arrest of three suspected drug traffickers.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday night Michael Perez, 36, of Dayton, Alfonso Tello, 56 of Mound House and Lorenna Tello, 33, of Dayton are each being held on $1 million bail for Level III trafficking of a controlled substance.

They are all being held in the Lyon County Detention Facility.

Two search warrants were served on Wednesday after a month long investigation into trafficking of large quantities of methamphetamine into Lyon County. The LCSO, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Tri-County Gang Unit, Nevada Highway Patrol, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Carson City Sheriff’s Office and the State of Nevada Tri-Net Narcotics task force executed two simultaneous search warrants in the Dayton and Moundhouse area that led to the seizure of one pound of methamphetamine, eight firearms and $4,500 in cash along with the arrests.

All three suspects are reportedly members or associated with the Lima Street gang, a subset of the 18th street and Sureno criminal street gangs.
