Nevada Fair parking passes for people who want to park at the fairgrounds arena main parking lot will go on sale for $20 apiece at City Hall Tuesday.

Supplies are limited.

Scott Fahrenbruch, Parks and Recreation Department deputy director, said there would be 100 available. They go on sale at the city Treasurer’s Office in City Hall, 201 N. Carson St. City Hall hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“A parking pass will give you access to park at the (Fuji) fairgrounds arena main parking lot throughout the four-day event,” said Fahrenbruch. There also will be 20 handicap parking spots on Old Clear Creek Road outside the Fuji Park and Fairgrounds and more in the arena lot for those with vehicles appropriately marked to use handicap parking stalls.

The bulk of fairgoers, however, again will park at the Casino Fandango and take bus shuttles to the fairgrounds in similar fashion to what occurred last year during the Nevada Sesquicentennial Fair. This year’s fair is from July 30-Aug. 2.
