The author of several biographies about historical entrepreneurs of the West will be featured at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, in Carson City Library’s Digitorium.
Jack Harpster’s recently published work, “Lumber Baron of the Comstock Lode,” is a biography of Duane L. Bliss’s life and highlights his early days of lumbering activity during the Comstock period, as well as his involvement in the building of the V & T Railroad. Harpster’s PowerPoint presentation will be followed by the sale of his book and author signing.
