Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Men arrested for possible burglary

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


WEDNESDAY

At 11:03 p.m., Garrett Preston, 21, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction, failure to appear warrant and contempt of court warrant and Nathaniel Perkins, 22, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court warrant after deputies responded to an attempt to locate call for suspects who may have robbed the Douglas County Target. Bail for Preston was set at $5,177 and bail for Perkins was set at $4,800.

At 8:32 p.m., Michael Tiehm, 26, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation hold, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prescription without a prescription after deputies received an anonymous tip two males were hiding out from police near the 1100 block of Woodside Drive. At the same incident, Kelly Manning, 26, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of parole and probation hold and possession of a controlled substance. Bail for Tiehm was set at $5,000 and bail for Manning was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
