Earlier this month, Churchill County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Trevin Goodrick and Dustin Beauford participated in the 2015 World Police and Fire Games in Fairfax, Va. More than 12,000 athletes from around the world participated in the games. Goodrick took gold in the 800-meter and silver in the 4x400 relay in track and field events and Beauford took bronze in the push-pull event (bench press and dead lift), a power-lifting event. Both deputies have worked for the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office about three years.
