A winner of the Bay Area All-Star Comedy Competition is appearing at Carson Nugget’s Comedy Club at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.

Myles Webber, who performed with Robin Williams, Rob Schneider and Louie Anderson, was featured on The Ricki Lake Show. His first comedy album, “Lighter than Mayonnaise,” debuted in the top 20 on iTunes. He was runner-up in the Best Of the Bay Area Comedy Competition.

Webber said his act blends social gullibility, dorky tendencies, and unusual observations.

Carson Comedy is putting on another comedy show by a Bay Area native, Chris Storin, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28.

Storin says his stand-up shows has drawn on his familial roots — his dad was a farmer from Oklahoma and his mom a Latina from New Mexico.

Doors for both shows open at 6:45 p.m. Tickets cost $13 in advance and $15 on the day of the show. Audience members must be 21 or older.
