The Carson City Board of Supervisors is accepting applications to fill a volunteer position on the Carson City Airport Authority, a seven-member board that oversees all matters pertaining to the Carson City Airport. The board meets on the third Wednesday of the month in the Sierra Room of the Community Center.
The term, a manufacturer member positions, expires Oct. 1, 2017. To qualify, applicants must be from within a three-mile radius of the Carson City Airport, but not a fixed base operator at the airport; however, if no manufacturer representative applies, the Board of Supervisors may appoint a member of the general public.
