The Carson City Board of Supervisors is accepting applications from anyone who wants to volunteer to fill a hotel/motel industry position, expiring July 2017, on the Carson City Visitors Bureau, which oversees all tourism matters in Carson City.
Meetings are held at 4 p.m. on the second Monday of the month at in the Sierra Room of the Community Center.
Applicants, who must be a representative from a Carson City hotel, motel or RV park to qualify, must be willing to serve approximately six to eight hours a month.

Volunteer applications may be obtained from and returned to the Carson City Executive Offices, 201 N. Carson St., Suite 2.
Applications will be accepted until July 2. Interviews are planned at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, July 16.
