Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 10:44 a.m., Sierra Heddy, 18, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony battery of a deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a man and woman fighting at the intersection of Highway 50 and Rand Avenue. At the same incident a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense. Bail for Heddy was set at $31,000 and bail for the man was set at $3,000.

At 6:40 p.m., David Baxley, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony violation of bail conditions, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1900 block of Roop Street. At the same incident, Sarah Gonzales, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant. Bail for Baxley was set at $1,600, bail for Gonzales was $5,500 and no bail was set for the 27-year-old.

At 9:22 p.m., Eugene Pharr, 38, from Portland, Ore., was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of a controlled substance, failure to maintain lane and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop. At the same incident, a 20-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of an out of county warrant. Bail for Pharr was set at $7,040 and bail for the 20-year-old was set at $1,820.

FRIDAY

At 2:57 p.m., Abraham Gonzales of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and DUI-first offense alcohol after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of Table Rock Drive. Bail was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
