The Carson City Board of Supervisors is accepting applications to fill three volunteer positions, whose terms expire in July 2018, on the Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife, Carson City’s wildlife management body.

The meetings, up to six hours a month, vary in number, usually with the onset of fishing and hunting seasons.

Applicants must be a registered voter as well as a resident of Carson City but need not be a sportsman, rancher or farmer.

Volunteer applications, which will be accepted until July 6, are available at Carson City Executive Offices, 201 N. Carson St., Suite 2. Interviews will be at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, July 16.
