Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on auto grand larceny

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 7:41 p.m., a 26-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of theft and violation of conditions of parole after an inmate told deputies at the Carson City jail someone had been using his bank account to buy phone credits. Bail was set at $3,500.

THURSDAY

At 12:15 a.m., Mathew Rodriguez, 18, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny-auto after deputies responded to reports of a stolen vehicle near the 2700 block of Sneddon Way. Bail was set at $25,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
