Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Woman arrested on felony embezzlement warrant

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

• At 9:15 a.m., Amie Folster, 36, was arrested on suspicion of felony warrant charging embezzlement after a traffic stop on East William Street at Anderson Street for speeding. She was held in lieu of $20,000 bail.

• At 2:37 p.m., a 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after punching her boyfriend when he refused to have sex with her because she had been drinking. She was held in lieu of $3,000 bail.

WEDNESDAY

• At 12:05 a.m., a 44-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense following an accident at Telegraph and Pratt streets. He was held in lieu of $1,000 bail.

• At 3:25 a.m., Jake Ruz, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell after a call at the AM-PM on North Carson Street reported a subject trying to sell Xanax. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
