Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Woman arrested on suspicion of domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

• At 3:50 p.m., a 68-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of stealing a woman’s backpack while at the FISH store on East Long Street. He was held in lieu of $250 bail on a petit larceny charge.

TUESDAY

• At 4:32 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after deputies were called to an address on Columbia Way. She was charged with battering her father, causing a bloody nose. Bail was set at $3,000.
