Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

• At 12:05 p.m., a 69-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after a witness called deputies to a parking lot on Winnie Lane. He also was charged with driving on a revoked license. Total bail was set at $1,500.

THURSDAY

• At 2:12 a.m., a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after deputies were called to an address on West Caroline Street for a report of a man hitting a woman. The victim said her husband hit her and bit her nose. He was held in lieu of $3,000 bail.
