Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Nev., has scheduled an agriculture town hall meeting in Carson City for April 1.
“Nevada’s agriculture industry is strong, but our hard-working producers and ranchers face unique challenges,” he said.
He said the meeting is designed as “part of an ongoing dialogue to ensure we are doing what we can to support an important part of our economy and way of life.”
He said he has asked state and federal agencies to participate in the meeting.
The meeting will start at 3 p.m. in the second-floor chambers of the Paul Laxalt Building next to the Carson Nugget.
