Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of felony drug charges

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


WEDNESDAY

• At 5:47 p.m., Rex Killan, 27, was arrested on suspicion of a felony drug charge as well as dispensing a prescription drug and violating probation conditions after deputies found a pack of tablets on his person. Bail was set at a total of $35,500.

• At 8:10 p.m., a 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of a minor consuming after deputies were called to a residence on Newman Place for a report that he was breaking the lights outside the residence. He registered more than double the legal alcohol limit in a preliminary breath test and was held in lieu of $150 bail.

• At 10:23 p.m., Juan Garcia, 26, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth after deputies were called to Dunkin Donuts for a man who had locked himself in the bathroom. He was also charged with trespass and held in lieu of $2,650 bail.
